Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Hours (07:00 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 2 Years License: Valid Washington License Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Floor care, ER, Code response, Rapid Response experience - Experience with Pediatrics and Adolescents preferred Description: This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The position may float between units. Weekends are required, every other weekend. Block scheduling is required. Expected patient ratios depend on patient acuity. Special requirements include: - Aerosol set up - Emergency Department experience - Extubation and tracheostomy care - Troubleshooting high pressure alarms Daily census includes care for adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The facility has a total of 629 staffed beds and includes specialized units such as a Level 4 NICU and Medical ICU. Candidates should have experience with various respiratory therapies, including BiPAP, CPAP, and mechanical ventilation. Response to rapid clinical situations is essential for this role.
