Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year License: State license required, pending license accepted Certifications: ACLS, BLS; PALS preferred Must-Have: Critical care experience Ability to float as needed Open to block schedule Description: Respiratory Therapist needed for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, including weekdays and some weekends. Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of experience. Certification in ACLS and BLS is required. PALS certification for pediatrics is preferred. The candidate must be willing to float within the scope to meet facility needs. Roles include assessment, pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment, management, diagnostic testing, and education of patients with cardiopulmonary system deficiencies. Strong skills in adult critical care and various therapeutic techniques are essential. Experience with mechanical ventilation, aerosol therapy, and pulmonary hygiene is required. The facility provides additional training as needed for specific equipment.
