Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: 1 year License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS Must-Have: - Pediatric and NICU experience - Critical care experience - Experience with adults and/or pediatrics Description: The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for providing care to patients of various age groups, including neonates, infants, children, and adults. This position requires experience in critical care, general care, and pediatric cases. Therapists will float within the facility as needed and may encounter various types of cases, including respiratory distress syndrome and bronchopulmonary dysplasia. Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and NALS are required for this role. The position includes a requirement for weekend shifts. The candidate must be prepared to manage emergency situations effectively and demonstrate proficiency in various respiratory therapies and interventions. Experience with aerosol therapy, intubation, and mechanical ventilation is essential. The Therapist will be expected to utilize charting systems for patient documentation. Candidates must have references from previous managers or supervisors within the past two years. All certifications must be from recognized entities, ensuring adherence to professional standards.
