Description:
The unit manager will conduct a phone interview.
Client will auto deduct the state tax.
Candidates are able to re-add the tax back in.
The department averages around 25 treatments per day.
Certifications needed include BLS, ACLS, PALS, and either RRT or CRT.
The patient population primarily consists of adults, with a few pediatric cases through the emergency department.
The department covers inpatient areas.
Job duties include drawing ABGs, bipap and ventilator setup, nebulizer treatments, conscious sedation, and cardioversion standby.
Respiratory therapists do not perform EKGs.
Therapists are required to assist with intubation.
A lead therapist will be present on staff during every shift.
A minimum of four respiratory therapists will be on duty during the night shifts.
Weekend shifts are required.
Holidays may also require availability.
There is no call or standby call requirement.
Personal scrubs in any color are acceptable.
Common equipment includes PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis.
Department-specific orientation will be provided.
The hospital has a cancellation policy that allows for cancellations up to four shifts during a 13-week assignment.
The charting system used is EPIC.
A BSN is not required.
A license is required for submission.
The care setting is acute.
