Job Title: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics RRT Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months minimum experience required License: IN license required Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, RRT Must-Have: - Written confirmation that the traveler is comfortable with the every other weekend requirement - 2 years of experience with 18 months recent ICU Description: Prescreening question required prior to submission. Shift requirement includes every other weekend. First-time travelers accepted. Candidates must float between facilities. Education must be accredited through CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA. Minimum experience required is 18 months. Candidates must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Floating between facilities is 100% required for all travelers. Temporary licenses may be obtainable once permanent license applications have been submitted. Two supervisor references required. Local residents may be considered local travelers. All travelers must meet the specified certification and skill set requirements. Background policy must be noted prior to submission. Any permanent or PRN employee must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler. Current or past travelers with accrued employment must take a designated break to reset travel eligibility. Out-of-state residents require a 90-day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark. In-state residents require a 180-day break to reset eligibility prior to the traveler’s year mark.
