Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ recent years of experience required License: Must have NY License in hand Certifications: BLS, RRT Must-Have: - No background hits or license hits will be accepted. - COVID-19 vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. - Flu vaccine required; medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed. Description: Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ recent years of experience. Candidates must have a NY License in hand at the time of submission. The successful candidate will have proficiency in adult critical care and emergency department settings. Skills required include extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, and oral airway placement. Experience with tracheostomy care and management is essential. Candidates should be familiar with high flow nasal cannula, BiPAP, and CPAP therapy. Troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation are also necessary skills. The position requires strong teamwork and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. All requests for time off must be included in the initial submission. Travelers will be responsible for coordinating coverage among peers for time off requests. First-time travelers may be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Returning travelers are eligible to apply as long as they are in good standing.
