Candidates must also be competent in resuscitating newborns post-delivery if required. Critical thinking skills are a necessity for managing some of the smallest patients safely. Therapists should be prepared to provide care independently in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be required as needed. All travelers are expected to work designated holidays, with specific guidelines regarding holiday requests. Full compliance with onboarding requirements is necessary to start on time.
