Job Title: Respiratory Care Specialist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT/RRT Must-Have: - Experience as an RT, no new grads accepted - Weekend coverage required every other weekend - Comfortable with emergency team assignments Description: Please ensure awareness of the following: Upon accepting an assignment and starting the role, the unit manager may assign you to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay at the facility until after the event passes or be part of the relief team. Specific details pertaining to pay will be relayed during each emergency event, as impacts vary. You should not apply for this role if you are not comfortable with these expectations. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. References from two supervisors will be required to obtain clearance to start the contract. Module training will be completed during orientation and factored in orientation hours. NURSYS reports must be up to date. Travelers must have two years of experience in specialty for all locations. Resources who have worked as permanent staff or in-house contractors must have been separated for one full year before returning as travel staff.
