Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty License: State license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CRT, RRT Must-Have: - Ability to be part of an "Emergency Team" and respond as assigned - Comfortable with emergency event expectations Description: Please ensure the traveler is aware that upon accepting an assignment and starting their role, they may be assigned to an "Emergency Team." There will be an expectation to stay until after the event passes or to be part of a relief team. Specific details concerning pay will be communicated for each emergency event, as impacts may vary. By signing the travel contract, acceptance of these terms is required. Travelers should be experienced respiratory therapists; new graduates are not eligible. Weekends will require coverage every other week. Epic experience is preferred. The facility does not accept local travelers and requires candidates to be over a specified distance from the facility. Please ensure all required certifications are in PDF format. NURSYS reports must be current and submitted with the profile. Candidates who have worked as permanent staff must be separated for a full year before returning as travelers. Modules are completed during orientation and are factored into total hours.
