Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years License: North Carolina Respiratory License Certifications: RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS Description: Client is licensed for 815 beds. It has been recognized as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals from 2020-2023 for providing the highest clinical quality year over year. Client has achieved an A grade in safety, nationally recognized for its efforts in protecting patients and providing safer healthcare. The hospital earned the prestigious Magnet Designation in 2020, which distinguishes organizations meeting rigorous nursing excellence standards. It serves as a referral center for a Level II trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, and a Level III neonatal intensive care unit. Client provides the region’s only open-heart and interventional cardiology services. It has the busiest robotic surgery program in the Carolinas and has earned a three-star rating for patient care and outcomes. The respiratory services team consists of 120 staff members. The unit has an average patient ratio of 10 to 25. The preferred equipment includes advanced ventilation devices and high-flow oxygen systems. Candidates must possess strong clinical skills and be adaptable to various critical care settings. Weekends are required, with a minimum of four weekend shifts per six-week schedule. Floating to all critical care units and floors may be necessary. Scrub color for the unit is medium gray or pewter.
