Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years preferred License: Washington license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Experience with patient ratios and charting systems preferred - Ability to float between units Description: This position requires a licensed Respiratory Therapist. The candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients. Rotation between units is a requirement of the position. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Expected ratios will depend on patient acuity. Special requirements include floor care, emergency response, and rapid response. The facility operates as a short-term acute care center with a significant number of licensed beds. Interdisciplinary support is available. The candidate will work with patients of all age groups, including pediatrics. The use of advanced respiratory equipment is expected. The role involves troubleshooting and managing ventilatory support for patients. Specific skills required include the ability to interpret arterial blood gases and provide emergency respiratory interventions. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities if necessary. References are required from recent employment to validate experience. This assignment does not require involvement in on-call duties.
