Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT-NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (18:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS Must-Have: NICU experience Description: Registered Respiratory Therapist for adult medical/surgical, adult critical care, and general pediatric care. Candidates must have NICU experience. Travel experience is strongly preferred. Candidates should be available to start within the next 3-5 weeks. Cerner charting experience is preferred. Previous charge experience is preferred. Candidates will provide care for various age groups including neonates, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. Facility operates a Level 3 Trauma and functions as a Level 2/Level 3 NICU. Daily census is around 270 patients with a bedding capacity of 402. Candidates will work with a range of equipment including jet and oscillatory ventilation for NICU, PB 980 for ventilation, and nitric delivery for the patient population. This position may require weekend coverage and a flexible schedule. Candidates will support a variety of pulmonary processes, including trauma.
