Description:
The unit does not accept first-time travelers.
Every other weekend work is required.
There is no call required for this position.
Floating may occur within the facility as needed.
The candidate will be clinically screened to determine fit.
If the clinical screen is passed, the candidate will proceed to the manager for a final decision.
A maximum of 7 days of requested time off is allowed during the assignment.
If one major holiday falls during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays.
If three major holidays fall during the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day.
Full compliance is required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a two-week pushback due to scheduled orientations.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
The number of non-billable training hours will depend on the contract length.
Candidate must have experience in adult critical care and various respiratory therapies and procedures.
The role involves working with adults and geriatric patients.
Candidates must have proficiency in a variety of respiratory treatment modalities and emergency procedures.
Special attention to equipment handling and knowledge of therapeutic protocols is essential for this position.
Interdisciplinary support and patient diagnoses will vary.
