Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ year License: RRT, licensed with Missouri Board for Respiratory Care Certifications: BLS and ACLS from AHA only Must-Have Skills/Experience: Adult critical care experience. Experience in a high-volume busy emergency department with trauma experience. Description: Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers from November to April. This position involves providing respiratory therapy care to patients in various units. The role requires working nights on a three 12-hour shift schedule. The therapist will care for respiratory patients in SICU, CCU, CVICU, emergency department, and trauma units. Preferred experience includes blood gas draw, processing, and interpretation. Strong time management skills and a willingness to assist coworkers are essential. Personality fit is crucial—looking for a confident therapist who thrives in a busy environment. All candidates must meet specific licensure and certification requirements. Proper dress code includes black scrubs as per facility standards.
