We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in St. Louis, MO where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
  • Required certifications: BCLS and RRT. Advanced certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required.
  • Required clinical experience: NICU and/or PICU. Experience with pediatrics, pediatric critical care, and ED in a level 1 trauma facility required.
  • Experience with EPIC charting preferred.
  • First-time travel clinicians accepted. Pending licenses accepted.
  • Locals not accepted for this assignment.
  • Other client requirements: every-other-weekend availability required. On-call is not required. Floating to other facilities is not required.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (Children's acute care, teaching hospital).
  • Shift: Nights.
  • Schedule: 4x12-hour night shifts.
  • Shift hours: 1900 - 0730.
  • Weekend requirement: every other weekend.
  • Guaranteed hours: 36 per week.
  • Required skills: neonatal and pediatric critical care, ED, level 1 trauma care.
  • RTO restrictions: 2 requests.
  • Scrub guidance: any scrub color or facility-branded T-shirts/jackets permitted.
  • Charting system: EPIC.
