Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,806 to $2,006 per week in Sun City West, AZ

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Proof of having passed the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). RRT required for new hires after October 1, 2015.
• Current state respiratory therapist license in good standing with the State License Board for Arizona.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Minimum of one year of clinical experience with competency in standard respiratory care modalities and mechanical ventilator management.
• Experience performing pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing per departmental protocols.
• Ability to perform patient assessments, document care accurately, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Must meet physical demands of direct patient care, including lifting up to 75 pounds when required.
• Preferred: additional related education and/or experience. Preferred: prior experience in hospital acute care settings.
