Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12H Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via NBRC, NRP, PALS Must-Have: 1 year of respiratory therapy experience, preferred Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred Description: Responsible for patient assessments. Develops care plans and implements them. Evaluates and revises therapy plans as needed. Performs diagnostic testing, including ABGs, PFTs, EKGs, cardiac procedures, bronchoscopy, and pulse oximetry. Transports patients within the facility or between facilities. Position may require working standard and flexible hours, including overtime. Ability to provide on-call coverage outside of standard scheduled hours. This role involves potential cancellation of shifts as per departmental policies.
