Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: RRT license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP required Must-Have: Epic experience Description: This position requires a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to work night shifts. The schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Weekend work is required every other weekend. The clinician may float between facilities to meet staffing and census needs. A minimum of two years of experience is preferred. First-time travelers will be accepted. The RRT license must be active prior to starting the position. All necessary certifications must be in hand upon starting. A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the agency. Knowledge of Epic charting is necessary. The facility is an acute care hospital with a total of 304 staffed beds. There is no fee for parking, and parking lots are available. During hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams as needed. It is essential for applicants to be aware of the guidelines regarding time off. All necessary documentation for compliance must be completed in a timely manner. Candidates must be available to fulfill the schedule and responsibilities as required.
