Job Title: Respiratory Therapist - RRT Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (7 PM - 7:30 AM) Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Critical Care License: RRT SC license must be in hand at the time of start Certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical Care experience; no first-timers accepted Description: Position/Specialty: Adult RRT Shift: 3x12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7:30 AM with holidays required. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend is mandatory. On-call Requirement: Not required. Floating Requirement: Clinicians may float within scope to meet facility needs, potentially to adult population facilities with similar policies, equipment, and charting requirements. Experience Required: Must have RRT adult critical care experience. Miscellaneous: Open to accommodating block schedules, though approval prior to assignment is not guaranteed. Radius Rule: Candidates must reside within 60 miles. Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis with reduced rates. RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission; approval will depend on unit needs. Patient Population: The facility includes critical care units, general acute care floors, and an emergency department, serving a diverse patient population with various medical and surgical needs. Travel Consideration: Candidates must be prepared for potential emergency response assignments during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. Compliance: RTO must be submitted at the time of application. Candidates should have completed all necessary compliance tasks before the start date. Modules: Pre-start modules will be included in the onboarding hours, with an average completion time of 4 hours.
