Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:45 - 19:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years in critical care License: South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, NBRC (RRT) Must-Have: Recent critical care experience Ability to float to all areas within the hospital, including labor and delivery Description: This position is for a Respiratory Therapist with a focus on critical care. The shift will be three days a week, totaling 12 hours each day. The clinician will participate in holiday rotations and every other weekend shifts. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in critical care. All required licenses and certifications must be valid before the start date. Candidates must be willing to accommodate floating to meet facility needs. No local candidates will be accepted. All time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application. During hurricane season, employees may be assigned to emergency response teams. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, including neonates and geriatrics. Successful candidates must demonstrate proficiency with various respiratory equipment and procedures. The work environment emphasizes teamwork with interdisciplinary support services.
