Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist- Provide respiratory therapy services according to physician orders
- Educate patients and their families on care procedures
- Operate and manage ventilators and other respiratory care equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience within the specialty
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- Georgia RRT license
- RRT Certification (NBRC)
