Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,658 to $1,858 per week in Silverdale, WA

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local hospital in Silverdale, WA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current Washington state respiratory therapist license in good standing.
• One year experience as an RRT or CRT. (Client accepts either RRT or CRT).
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience with ventilator management, BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow therapy, and drawing ABGs.
• Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience required, including competency with bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up.
• Experience working inpatient respiratory services and familiarity with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment preferred.
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital setting covering inpatient units and occasional ED patients.
• Prior experience providing standby support for conscious sedation and cardioversion.
• Experience assisting with intubations.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: nights, 3x12s.
• Typical scheduled hours: 1900–07:30.
• Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week.
• Orientation: 12 hours department-specific orientation.
• Weekend requirement: yes.
• Holiday requirement: one holiday.
• Lead therapist on staff every shift; typically 4+ RTs on night shift.
• Washington state auto-deduction: Medical Solutions auto deducts the 1.75 WA state tax; you may re-add that back in.
