Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year preferred License: Valid Oklahoma License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC (RRT or CRT) Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy education program with a minimum of 20 quarter hours of science. Description: RRT positions available for night shifts. Every other weekend required. Candidates must have BLS, ACLS, and NBRC certifications. Graduate from a CoARC or CAAHP accredited education program is required. An Associate's degree is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. Charting system experience preferred. Skills required include adult critical care and various respiratory interventions. Must be able to perform troubleshooting around high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Knowledge and experience related to pulmonary hygiene and other respiratory conditions is necessary. Patient trauma and respiratory emergencies experience is beneficial. Travelers are expected to float to like units as needed. Orientation and additional training may be provided on-site. Candidates should be ready to work closely with interdisciplinary support teams. The facility includes specialty units such as ICU and burn units.
