We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Anderson, SC. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment and care for patients with breathing disorders. Responsibilities include delivering intensive respiratory care, patient transport, operating ventilatory equipment, performing arterial punctures, tracheostomy care, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, oximetry and capnography monitoring, 12-lead EKGs and basic arrhythmia recognition, pulmonary function studies, assisting with bronchoscopic and chest tube procedures, mechanical ventilator setup and management, equipment maintenance support, documentation of treatments and patient responses, and participation in shift handoffs and interdisciplinary communication.
