Key Responsibilities of the Travel Respiratory Therapist
  • Work independently with critical care level patients
  • Triage levels of care across multiple floors
  • Perform procedures such as nebulizer treatments, vent and BiPap checks, ABG draws, and assist with intubation and extubation
  • Conduct bronch assist, PEP therapy, run lactic, EKG, and patient assessments

Requirements of the Travel Respiratory Therapist
  • ALS, PALS, NRP certifications
  • Experience with critical care patients
  • Level 3 NICU experience preferred
