Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care hospital experience License: RRT Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP Must-Have: Candidates must have a minimum of 1 year of current acute care RRT hospital experience. Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Description: This travel position is for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The shift is from 5:30 PM to 6:00 AM. The unit has a capacity of 502 beds and employs 64-70 staff members. On the day shift, there will typically be one charge therapist, one manager, and 8-10 clinical RRTs. During the night shift, there will typically be one charge therapist and 8-10 clinical RRTs. The patient ratio is 10:1. The unit is equipped with Hamilton G5 and C1 ventilators and utilizes an electronic medical record system. Typical procedures performed on this unit include breathing treatments and ventilator assessments. Candidates with NICU/PEDS experience and level 1 trauma experience are preferred. High energy and a desire to make a difference are essential attributes for candidates. Patient care experience is a priority.
