Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in acute care License: Must hold a valid Respiratory Therapist license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS Must-Have: - Minimum of 6 months current acute care RRT hospital experience - Must possess required certifications Description: This is a travel position for a Respiratory Therapist. The unit has a capacity of 350 beds and employs 38 staff members. Staffing includes 1 Charge and 5 staff on day shifts, and 1 Charge and 5 staff on night shifts. Patient ratios are variable. Typical equipment includes Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, and Vyair Avea. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Candidates should bring an energetic, team-oriented, and honest personality. Patient experience is a top priority in this role. Prior experience with Meditech and PEDS/NICU/PICU is preferred. Typical procedures performed include ventilator management and airway management. This position offers an opportunity to work with advanced technology and equipment, alongside experienced staff.
