Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) - $1,392 to $1,592 per week in Pensacola, FL

We’re hiring an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a local healthcare provider where you’ll be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders

Minimum Requirements: 

• Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
• Current state license in good standing with the State License Board.
• One year experience as an RRT.
• BLS certification.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with mechanical ventilation management, arterial blood gas sampling, and airway management including endotracheal tube insertion and tracheostomy care required.
• Ability to perform and interpret oximetry, capnography, 12-lead EKGs, pulmonary function testing, and basic arrhythmia recognition.
• Competence with common respiratory equipment and procedures: invasive and non-invasive ventilators, nebulizers, oxygen delivery systems, suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and ventilator set-up/self-test.
• ACLS certification preferred.
