Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Profession: RRT Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RRT Certifications: CRT Must-Have: Critical care experience Description: No blocked scheduling. No holiday time off. The unit has 444 beds. There are 8 core staff members and 5 PRN staff. Day shift consists of 1 charge RT and 2-3 RTs, including a supervisor. Night shift consists of 3 RTs. Patient ratios are variable. Equipment includes ventilators, Bipaps, oxygen, blood draw tools, and Vapotherm. EMR system used is Meditech. Typical procedures performed include ventilator operation and bronchoscopies. Blood draws are also conducted. The ideal candidate must have the ability to prioritize and operate under stressful conditions. Candidates without critical care experience will not be considered for this role. Candidates with ER experience will be given preference.
