Job Title: RRT Profession: Respiratory Therapy Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Required Certifications: Required Must-Have: Adult respiratory experience in an acute care setting Description: This is a contract position for a Registered Respiratory Therapist. The role is scheduled for night shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. No call is required. The position involves a patient ratio assignment based on volume. The average patient volume for respiratory therapy is approximately 35-40 patients per shift. The unit operates with a staff of 50, including a supervisor on duty at all times. Standard procedures include nebulizers, chest physiotherapy, arterial blood gas collection, and ventilator management. Additional responsibilities may include assisting in bronchoscopy, intubation, and transporting patients on mechanical ventilation within the facility. Candidates should be able to collaborate effectively with team members across various disciplines. Preferred candidates will have experience in adult critical care or emergency departments. The dress code for this position includes olive green tops and black pants. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to work with advanced technology and equipment.
