We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Savannah, GA where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree from a Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program.
  • Current Georgia state license in good standing with the State License Board.
  • RRT credential required. One year experience as an RRT preferred; neonatal transport experience required as noted below.
  • BLS certification required.
  • NRP and PALS certifications required.
  • Minimum of 2 years NICU transport experience required.
  • Experience with neonatal ventilator management including conventional ventilation, HFOV, CPAP/NIV, HFNC, and transport ventilators.
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting transport isolette systems and transport-related equipment, oxygen management, and EMS integration.
  • Proficiency in neonatal airway management, bag-mask ventilation, securing advanced airways, and assisting with line placements (PIV, UVC) during transport.
  • Proficiency in point-of-care testing (ABG/CBG, glucose) and competent documentation of transport events and interventions.
  • Annual transport competencies as required by the facility.
  • Black-on-black scrubs required by unit dress code.
  • Preferred: STABLE certification.

  • Facility type: Hospital.
  • Unit: NICU with transport responsibilities.
  • Shift: Nights.
  • Shift hours: 1900–0700.
  • Scheduling: 2–3 shifts per week as a typical requirement.
  • Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other facilities as needed.
