Job Description

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will provide critical respiratory care across a mixed age range, including pediatrics and adults. The role demands comprehensive knowledge and experience in PICU/NICU settings as well as the capability to manage adult patients effectively in various care settings.

Responsibilities

  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments based on patient assessments and treatment plans.
  • Operate and manage advanced respiratory equipment such as jet ventilation and high-frequency oscillation.
  • Monitor patient vitals and responsiveness, adjusting care protocols as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Perform emergency interventions as required in high-acuity environments.
  • Ensure that all equipment and supplies are appropriately stocked and maintained.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in critical care respiratory therapy, with strong pediatrics and NICU-focused skills.
  • Must possess an active RRT certification along with ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications.
  • Experience with all age groups, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adults.
  • Charge experience preferred.
