**Join Our Team as a Registered Respiratory Therapist!** **Job Description:** - Exciting opportunity to provide respiratory therapy under medical direction, focusing on the education, treatment, management, and diagnostic evaluation for patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies. - Participate in life-saving procedures, including intubation assistance and ventilator setup & management. - Gather essential information to evaluate patient needs—engage in disease education and consult with fellow healthcare professionals. - Build rapport and mutual respect with patients and caregivers to create an optimal environment for achieving health goals. - Document and deliver tailored education to patients and caregivers, ensuring information is conveyed clearly and effectively. - Embrace a collaborative team environment and contribute to various duties and projects as assigned. - Adhere to organizational competencies and standards of behavior. - Handle physical aspects of the role, including lifting, pushing, pulling a minimum of 5 lbs., and standing for at least 1 hour daily. - Interact regularly with medical personnel and visitors, enhancing the overall patient care experience. - Flexibility to work mostly day shifts, with willingness to assist during nights, weekends, and holidays as required. Shifts may vary—options for two 8-hour shifts and two 12-hour shifts, or three 12-hour shifts available. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience required, particularly with long-term ventilator patients. **Required Skills & Experience:** - Strong adaptability to changing patient needs and quick learning. - Exceptional accountability and commitment to improving patients' lives and supporting their caregivers. - Focus on teamwork and passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. **Education Requirements:** - High school diploma or equivalent. - Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. **Certifications & Licensure:** - BLS - AHA. - ACLS. - PALS. - Current and valid New Jersey Respiratory Care license. - Current and valid NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification. **Language Proficiency:** - English: Read, Write, Speak. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
