### Position Overview

A Level I Trauma Center is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment. The RN will provide high-acuity care in a fast-paced emergency setting and must be comfortable handling trauma cases and critically ill patients.

### Key Responsibilities

* Deliver direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department

* Triage and assess patients presenting with a wide range of conditions

* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

* Respond to trauma and emergency situations efficiently

* Manage overflow inpatient holds in the ED on a rotating basis

* Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams

* Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation

### Qualifications

* Minimum 2+ years of recent ED RN experience required

* Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center required

* Experience in a 500+ bed hospital preferred

* Previous travel nursing experience required

* Active Arizona RN license (or compact license)

### Certifications Required

* Basic Life Support (BLS)

* Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

* Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

* NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

### Facility & Role Details

* High-acuity Level I Trauma Center environment

* May be required to take inpatient overflow assignments in the ED

* Scrub Color: Navy (including warm-up jacket)
