- Shift: Nights | 3x12s | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 Hours/Week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of current acute care RN experience
- At least 1 year of PCU experience
- Active experience within the last 12 months required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
- Epic experience required
- Oncology experience preferred but not required
Unit Highlights
- Medical Oncology Progressive Care Unit
- Care for patients with solid tumors, orthopedic oncology, and thoracic oncology diagnoses
- High-acuity PCU environment with telemetry
- Nurse-to-patient ratio:
- PCU: 1:3
- Med/Surg Tele: 1:4–5
- Floating required to equivalent PCU or Med/Surg Oncology units
Skills Needed
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
- Blood product administration
- Central line, PICC, and IV management
- Heparin protocols
- Cardiac drips
- Tracheostomy care
- BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula
- Chest tube management
- Rapid Response experience
