Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care for OB/GYN patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, monitor progress, and document outcomes.
- Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; delegate tasks appropriately.
- Coordinate care with physicians, midwives, lactation consultants, and other disciplines; communicate effectively with the care team.
- Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Uphold patient privacy, safety, and regulatory compliance under applicable standards and policies.

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- OB/GYN or maternity care experience preferred; not required.
- Ability to work nights and thrive in a high-acuity obstetric setting; strong communication and teamwork skills.
