Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult Med/Surg/Tele patients on a Neuro/Ortho/Stroke-focused unit
- Monitor telemetry (unit and remote) and respond to patient needs and alarms
- Initiate and maintain IV access; manage PICC lines; administer IV medications as prescribed
- Utilize PCA for analgesia and support pain management plans
- Apply isolation precautions and PPE; adhere to infection control policies
- Document care in EPIC; coordinate with the multidisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient education

Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri (or eligible; pending licensure accepted)
- 2+ years of RN experience preferred; adult patient population
- Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS; ACLS required per policy
- Telemetry monitoring and IV start/maintenance experience; PICC line management; PCA experience
- Experience with stroke and total joint replacement care; ability to work nights and float to units other than ICU/SDU/ED
- Education: Graduate of an approved nursing program; eligible for Missouri RN licensure
- Compliance readiness: Flu vaccine required; COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Pre-start requirements: Labs completed within 48–72 hours of signing; onboarding modules (WorkRamp) started within 1 week and completed before start
- RTO restrictions: Maximum 7 days of RTO within a 13-week contract; no RTO during the first week; no new RTO after submission
- Locals rule: Not accepted within a 75-mile radius
