Responsibilities
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for adult patients on the Med Surg/Oncology unit
- Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor patient status, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, wound care, and routine treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, case managers, and other team members to develop and execute care plans
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatments, discharge plans, and self-care
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record and ensure patient safety and infection control standards

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Oncology RN experience
- Certifications: AHA BLS, NIHSS, ACLS
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a hospital travel assignment
- Eligibility for travel assignments; no local candidates within 50 miles
