**Exciting Opportunity for an RN - MedSurg/Rehab (Evening Shift)** **Job Description:** - **Location:** 4th Floor, Inpatient Rehab Unit - **Address:** 5721 W. 119th St, Overland Park, KS 66209 - **Unit Details:** - **Number of Beds:** 16 - **Number of Staff:** 20 - **Staff Composition:** - Day Shift: 1 Charge RN & 1-2 other RNs - Night Shift: 1 Point Person & 1-2 other RNs - 1 LPN & 1 PCT each shift if full at 15/16 patients - No Patient Care Coordinator (PIC) - **Equipment:** Welch Allens - **Documentation System:** EMR - Meditech - **Scheduling Requirements:** 3 12-hour shifts, rotating every 3rd weekend - **Floating Policy:** Any medical floor - **Patient Experience Requirements:** Rehab documentation knowledge preferred **Required Skill Set:** - **Must Have:** - BLS Certification - **Advanced Skills:** - ACLS or PALS (nice to have) - Basic Dysthymia Class (nice to have) **Procedures Performed on Unit:** - Post-stroke patients - Surgical patients (neuro or ortho) - Medical patients needing increased therapy **Preferred Certifications:** - CRRN Certification **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color/Attire: Royal blue top and bottom or black scrub bottoms **Recognition:** - Unit of Distinction Award Winner for 2021 **Why Choose This Unit?** - Extensive staff experience: Average tenure of around 20 years - Engaged leadership with plenty of resources for inpatient rehab services - Strong team atmosphere fostering collaboration and support **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
