Job Requirements

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program

Certifications Requirements:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • Critical Care experience (required)

Experience Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of recent RN experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience providing care in critical care / LTAC environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency with rapid assessment and escalation of patient conditions in high-acuity settings

Other Requirements:

  • Ability to work Days and Nights with a schedule of 3-12 (including 7-7 shifts)
  • Strong clinical judgment and communication skills for interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to provide safe, patient-centered care while following facility protocols and maintaining documentation standards

Job Responsibilities

  • Assess patients and perform thorough ongoing evaluations to identify changes in condition promptly
  • Provide critical care nursing interventions and implement evidence-based care plans for high-acuity LTAC patients
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, case management, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
  • Document nursing assessments, patient responses, and care activities accurately and in compliance with facility standards
  • Execute medications administration and monitor treatment outcomes while ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
