Overview
Registered Nurse – LDRP and Newborn Nursery (OB) travel assignment in Newark, New York. This is a travel - temporary assignment at a hospital setting. Start date: 08/17/2026. Contract duration: 13 weeks. Shift: Nights, 3x12. Weekly pay: $2,182–$2,290 per week. No guaranteed hours. This role requires NY RN licensure in hand, ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications, with on-call and floating responsibilities within the OB continuum.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct obstetric and neonatal nursing care across the LDRP and Newborn Nursery units, including triage and continuous assessment of obstetric patients
- Manage labors and immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum care, and newborn resuscitation as indicated
- Circulate, scrub, and assist with C-sections; provide epidural care and IV starts; operate infusion pumps
- Monitor external and internal fetal status, coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Respiratory, Radiology, Social Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response) to support patient needs
- Maintain EPIC charting accurately; ensure patient safety, infection control, and adherence to obstetric protocols
- Manage postpartum hemorrhage scenarios and provide triage for obstetrical patients as needed

Requirements
- Current New York RN license in hand; candidates within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP (ERМ preferred but not required)
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of acute hospital RN experience with hands-on OB/LDRP and Newborn Nursery care
- Education: RN eligible for licensure in New York; EPIC charting experience is required
- Ability to work independently across the OB continuum; on-call and floating within the defined skillset
- Pre-start modules and background checks as per policy; return-to-work consideration: 1-year policy
