Responsibilities
- Provide direct ICU nursing care to critically ill adult patients across neuro/medical, CTICU, and trauma populations, including strokes, sepsis, and post-op care
- Monitor and support complex physiologic parameters, manage ventilators, vasoactive infusions, and other critical care therapies
- Administer medications and therapies (including CRRT/PRISMAflex when applicable) and perform neuro checks, intracranial pressure monitoring, and other advanced ICU interventions
- Collaborate with intensivists, neurosurgery, respiratory therapy, physical/occupational therapy, and case management to coordinate care and transitions
- Document thoroughly in the EPIC EMR, maintain accurate patient records, and ensure compliance with unit protocols and NY licensure requirements
- Float to other units as needed to support patient care needs and unit staffing

Requirements
- Active NY RN license with NURSYS verification; all active RN licenses must be on file
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience; 4–5 years ICU experience preferred
- Travel experience required; local candidates within 75 miles may be eligible for local rate
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- EMR experience preferred: EPIC
- Ability to work night shifts and float to related ICU units as needed
- Driver’s license with address matching demographics
- RTO (time off) must be requested at submission
- Demonstrated experience with CRRT (PRISMAflex or similar) and heart-related ICU care is highly preferred
