    Overview
    Registered Nurse – ER in Gardner, Massachusetts. Start date 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-based ER setting. Weekly pay: $1,999–$2,162 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12-hour nights (7:00 pm–7:00 am), every other weekend and holiday.

    Responsibilities
    - Assess and reassess patients in the ER, develop and implement nursing plans of care, and evaluate patient outcomes and goals.
    - Provide patient care according to standards of care, protocols, policies, and procedures; respect patient dignity and support family education and learning needs.
    - Safely administer medications and IV therapy, monitor responses, and titrate vasoactive medications as ordered.
    - Perform triage, initial assessments, continuous patient monitoring, and escalate for emergencies; implement safety plans for at-risk patients and participate in mandated reporting when appropriate.
    - Document thoroughly and timely; communicate patient status and care plans to the health care team to ensure continuity of care.
    - Maintain proficiency in recognizing and responding to abnormal laboratory results and cardiac rhythms; support airway management and airway clearance, including care for ventilated patients as needed.
    - Contribute to discharge planning by coordinating with patients and families, arranging resources, and ensuring appropriate follow-up.

    Requirements
    - Current registered nurse license for Massachusetts
    - Minimum education: AS in nursing required; BS in nursing preferred
    - Certifications: ACLS upon hire or hold active BLS with ACLS obtained within 60 days; PALS within six months; TNCC, ENPC, and CEN preferred
    - Experience: 3–5 years ED experience preferred
    - Ability to work in a hospital-based ER setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment
