Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the ER per the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Monitor patient status, administer medications, and respond to changing clinical conditions
- Triage and stabilize patients; coordinate rapid assessment and ongoing care
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Supervise and direct activities of varied levels of nursing staff and support personnel as assigned
- Document care accurately and maintain patient safety and quality of care

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- ER nursing experience in an acute-care setting
- Graduation from an accredited RN program
- Ability to work nights and thrive in a fast-paced ER environment
- Eligibility to work in Bakersfield, California
