Job Summary:
Interventional Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) in Seattle, WA. This 32-week contract position involves supporting cardiology patients before and after procedures such as cardiac catheterization, PCI/stent placement, electrophysiology procedures, and structural heart interventions. The role requires clinical assessment, patient education, and collaboration within a heart and vascular clinic environment.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, starting on 09/07/2026 and ending on 04/16/2027
- Required Qualifications: 1 year of experience working as an RN in an outpatient cardiology clinic setting and triage setting. Valid RN license. Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with assessment of cardiology patients, ECG interpretation, and patient education.
- Float: No floating required between units.
- Additional Information: The role supports caring for patients preparing for or recovering from cardiology procedures, including assessment of symptoms, anticoagulation, and post-procedure complications. Urgent escalation required for symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, syncope, stroke-like symptoms, uncontrolled bleeding, unstable vitals, or vascular access issues.
- Location: Seattle, WA, 550 17TH AVE STE 680.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
- Unit Details: Cardiovascular outpatient clinic serving adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiology needs; interprofessional support available.
