Registered Nurse needed for Behavioral Health/Psychiatric care in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is a travel, temporary assignment starting 06/01/2026 for 13 weeks, with 40 guaranteed hours per week on a 5x8 evening shift. Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ care needs and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and reassess a plan of care
- Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians for individuals and groups
- Teach patients and families; assist in milieu management and discharge/aftercare planning
- Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff; document and report accurately per policies
- Identify risks to patient safety and communicate with physicians as needed
- Serve as a clinical leader when appropriate, delegating tasks and promoting staff development
- Contribute to ongoing review and improvement of care protocols and utilization of resources

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license in Michigan
- 2 years of behavioral health experience (required)
- Pediatric experience (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Ability to work in a community mental health setting
