- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,830 – $3,040
- Location: Milwaukee, WI 53215 (Milwaukee radiology jobs, Wisconsin)
- Setting: Hospital – Cardiac Services, Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 27, 2026 – July 25, 2026)
- Shift: 8-hour Day Shifts (40 hours/week)
- Weekend Rotation: On-call every 5th weekend
- Call Requirements: 1 call shift per week (Monday–Thursday), response time 30 minutes
- Orientation: 1–2 weeks with a preceptor (ideal for first-time travel RTs with IR experience)
- Parking: Free parking in structure with badge access
Job Requirements – Radiologic Technologist / IR Tech
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)), including Interventional Radiology procedures
- ARRT (RT(R)) certification required
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Wisconsin Radiologic Technologist license (or eligibility) required
- Experience with Siemens and GE imaging equipment preferred
- EPIC EMR experience preferred (electronic medical record proficiency)
- Comfortable scrubbing and panning simultaneously; strong procedural support skills for IR

Responsibilities – Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Perform a variety of general and neuro interventional radiology procedures, including kyphoplasty, vertebroplasty, central lines, PICCs, ports, fistulograms, IVC filters, nephrostomy tubes, stents, coil embolization, thoracentesis, paracentesis, CT-guided biopsies, and AAA interventions
- Support CT Room procedures such as cryoablation, biopsies, and drains (CT-guided interventions)
- Assist with neuro IR cases including stroke interventions, embolization, DSA, WADA testing, and spinal angiograms when experienced
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team: lead techs, tech specialists, physicians, hospitalists, CNAs, and respiratory therapists
- Maintain accurate procedure documentation, assist with charging/coding as needed, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
- Participate in an on-call rotation and reliably respond within 30 minutes for emergent IR cases
- Deliver high-quality patient care, uphold radiation safety standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience
