Schedule / Job TypeContract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 4x10-hour shifts | 40 hours per week | Weekends, holidays, and on-call per unit need
Key Responsibilities- Prepare adult inpatient and outpatient patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided procedures
- Perform intra-procedure monitoring and provide post-procedure recovery care including PACU and extended stay (23-hour) observation
- Serve as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients
- Apply critical thinking and strong communication skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
- Adhere to infection prevention measures, including wearing facility-issued and laundered scrubs in procedural areas
Required Qualifications- Active New York State (NYS) Registered Nurse License
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of recent interventional radiology (IR) experience
- Telemetry experience
