Travel Sonographer
Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM • Located in the Perinatal Center on the 3rd floor of the main building • Patient ratio of 10-12 patients per technologist per day • Perform procedures including 1st trimester scans, biophysical profiles (BPP), Dopplers, detailed fetal anatomy scans, OB complete scans, and nuchal translucency (NT) scans • Work with E8 and E10 ultrasound equipment • Use Viewpoint EMR system • Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital setting required • Required certifications: ARDMS, OB/GYN Certification, BLS • Preferred certifications: Fetal Echo, NTQR Certification • Dress code: Navy blue scrubs • Ideal candidate is flexible, customer focused, and a team player
Facility:
This facility operates three hospital centers with a total staff of 30, including 10 sonographers. The Perinatal Center is a well-established unit with a tenured team, including seven technologists with 15 or more years of service. The department has received recognition for employee engagement and maintains a collaborative, experienced team environment with day shift staffing consisting of 2-3 sonographers, 2 RNs, a genetic counselor, 2 registrars, a director, and a clinical manager.
