Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Shift rotates between 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM and 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM | On-call required (weekdays, overnights, and weekends; approximately 8–12 shifts per month; must be within 30-minute response time)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology unit supporting a range of procedures from basic IR cases to complex cases such as tumor ablation, thrombectomy, SIR-Spheres, spine jack procedures, and neuro-related drains
- Collaborate with a team of IR technologists and fellow RNs across day shift operations in a two-suite IR environment
- Operate and work alongside GE imaging equipment and document patient care using Meditech EMR
- Respond to on-call needs within a 30-minute response time during weekday evenings, overnights, and weekends as scheduled
- Manage high-acuity and stressful clinical situations with strong communication and composure
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current Interventional Radiology RN experience in an acute care setting
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Ability to meet on-call obligations and maintain a 30-minute response time to the facility
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neurology experience within an IR or acute care setting
- Experience working in or with a thrombectomy center
